I'd like to present my own views on the Frankfurt Major so far which started on the 13th of November 2015. The tournament itself is the first of its kind. According to Valve, there will be two more Majors before the next International in 2016. With 16 top teams from around the world competing for a total prize pool of 3 million USD, this tournament is being followed keenly by almost every Dota players and fans alike.

The compedium was a disappointment. It was lacking in features and uninteractive. I wasn't expecting it to be on lines with the International compedium but they could've done well by adding a few of what it had.

The tournament introduced its own website and it does look beautiful. However, be warned that the match updates may take longer than some other websites of its kind.

The match broadcast by ESL was of the better kind as compared to other tournaments. The only thing that irked me was the occasional 'close-up' on players during team fights. However, these are early days and I believe these glitches will be rectified as the tournament progresses.

Evil Genuises, the TI 5 champions were keenly watched after the return of Arteezy and they didn't disappoint. They have played two matches so far with remarkable comebacks after losing the first game in both. Vici Gaming, the Chinese powerhouse, showed that they still have it in them  by leading their group after two successful matches.
